Life Rolls On at Spit Studio
May 1st 2009
“On May 1st the Life Rolls On (LRO) Foundation celebrated the commencement of their Active Young Professionals (AYP) chapter at Spit Studio. Two free round trip airline tickets, courtesy of Virgin Airlines and a Bo Bridges photograph were raffled off. Vitamin Water and MillerCoors provided drinks for the evening. 2009 Bruddah Tour at Spit
April 29th 2009
Swoop, Juice’s Online, and Easy Reader’s Beach Magazines ran images from the 2009 Bruddah Tour at Spit Studio. Chris Malloy’s “One Track Mind” was played on the giant projector screen at the gallery while a large crowd watched from below. Primo flowed like water and Latch Key Kid’s Gavin Heaney played an acoustic set in the studio bay. The party continued to The Shore in Hermosa Beach where plenty of Primo gear was given out. Stoked Sessions L.A.
May 2nd and 3rd 2009
“On May 2nd and 3rd Stoked Mentoring held an art show and fundraiser called Stoked Sessions L.A. at Upper Playground L.A. Some of the most influential artists in the country submitted pieces to be auctioned off to benefit the cause. Bo Bridges submitted “Kick Push” above on a thick canvas wrap. X-Games 3-D The Movie
May 2009
Bo Bridges photo of the first ever double backflip of Travis Pastrana on a 250cc MX bike was requested by X-Games to be featured in their X-Games 3D the Movie coming out this summer. The image was taken in 2006 at the Home Depot Center in L.A. and is sold at Spit Studio in poster style for $10. It’s also on display at LA Live downtown Los Angeles blown up for all to see. Run to Spit Studio in Hermosa before they’re all gone! ”

Microsoft Commercial

“South Bay’s Luxury Life & Style Magazine featured Bo Bridges‘ gallery reception at Spit Studio in April. USC Coach, Pete Carroll, stopped by to check it out as DJ Sleeper mixed from above the crowd. Fiesta Hermosa

“Memorial Day Weekend in Hermosa Beach was insane! Streets were shut down for vendor booths, carnival games were plentiful, ATM lines were ridiculous and the music coming from Spit Studio created an impromptu block party right outside the door. Beautiful women from Rockstar provided the latest new flavors and rocked out next to DJ Mocha for the weekend. Anyone living in Southern California is now more aware of Bo BridgesSpit Studio and his outstanding photographs featured at the gallery. “After Simon Tabron won the ASA vert contest in Cincinnati, ASA filmed “A Day In The Life of Simon Tabron”. He rolled into Spit Studio with Chad Kagy and crew for a photo shoot. “A local surfer, Nathan Gocke, injured his spine last year in a surfing accident. Now paralyzed, he needs the support from the community. On May 31st, Patrick Malloy’s put together a fundraiser to help Gocke in his efforts. Fuel TV and Bo Bridges, among others, were there for the evening with items to donate.
